OUR VISION: "...to reach, teach and transform a new generation of children through Jesus Christ!"
Thank you for visiting Brookside Kids online! The Children's ministry at our church is an exciting and growing ministry and we invite you to come see what we're all about. Our church is committed to develop and nurture young people according to the Bible and we are eager to have the opportunity to meet you and your family.
At Brookside, our goal for your child is simple. We want to offer a loving and exciting environment where they can learn about themselves and understand the Bible while having fun.Through theme-based curriculum, our goal for teaching your child is knowledge that is life changing. Through this fun and energetic aim we make every effort to apply the Bible in ways which children can easily relate.
We believe that God intended parents to work together within the context of the church as they train, teach, and lead their children. Parents need to be the main teachers of faith-training. We assist parents and grandparents in their efforts to lead their child into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
We seek to immerse ourselves into and know the culture of children today and we will do what we need in order to reach this generation for Christ.
Our goal is for every lesson, example, and activity to be relevant to kids in their life, now! Our objectives are designed to help children discover the relevancy of the Bible in an exciting way.
LIFE CHANGE ORIENTED:
We desire for children to develop in all dimensions of spirituality: the breadth and depth of knowledge, voluntary participation in acts of service, involvement in church and daily engagement in worship.
THE SAFETY OF CHILDREN...
SAFETY AND SECURITY are among a child's highest needs. We want children and their families to feel a genuine warmth and comfort level with the adults who are responsible for them. Your children will learn in an environment where they can feel safe spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
Each staff member and volunteer in our ministry undergoes a complete background check. Also, children are checked in and given a name tag; parents are given security tags that match the child's name tag. The security tags are then used to come back and pick up the child. We also have a security camera to observe activity from a central location.
