Our Core Values
Five core values are indispensable to the fulfillment of our mission. Each of these expresses a passion for God.
Worship (John 4:24, Mathew 28:17, Philippians 3:3)
True worship begins when a person places his faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, believing in His death and resurrection as sufficient payment for sin. True worship continues as a life style of responding to God's revelation of Himself with mind and heart in ways that declare the greatness of who He is.
Community (Romans 15:5-7, Ephesians 4:1-6, Hebrews 10:24-25)
Genuine biblical community means living in caring relationships that are guided by biblical truths and grounded in spiritual accountability. We know that real and lasting life-change occurs only in the unity and diversity of such relationships.
Growth (Ephesians 4:14-16, Philippians 3:14, Colossians 1:28)
Spiritual growth means that over time we are becoming and acting more and more like Jesus Christ. Growth means change and change is not easy. However, growth is the evidence that the life of Jesus is being reproduced in our lives.
Service (Ephesians 4:11-13, Mark 10:45, 1 Peter 4:10-11)
Jesus demonstrated that the most influential life is the life of serving others. We will influence the world for Christ when, motivated by His great love for us, we extend that love through our own hands and feet in acts of service to others.
Generosity (John 3:16, Proverbs 11:24-25, 2 Corinthians 9:6-11)
God constantly acts with lavish generosity. He gives graciously, joyfully, and without measure. Generosity means living with our hands open-giving away the truth, time, talent, and treasure God has so graciously entrusted to us.
